Petal Health Fair

May 12, 2025

The community came together to celebrate health, wellness, and connection at the Senior Health Fair, proudly organized by the Petal Area Chamber of Commerce. The event was a heartfelt effort to connect local seniors and their families with valuable resources and services tailored specifically for elder care.

With dozens of vendors in attendance, the Civic Center buzzed with energy as healthcare providers, home care services, senior fitness programs, and wellness advocates shared information, answered questions, and offered demonstrations. From free blood pressure screenings and fall risk assessments to Medicare guidance and nutritional counseling, the fair offered something for everyone.

The overwhelming positive response from both attendees and vendors has sparked discussions about making the Senior Health Fair an annual tradition in Petal. As the population ages and the need for elder-focused services grows, events like this play a crucial role in bridging gaps and fostering stronger support networks.

The Petal Area Chamber of Commerce extends its sincere thanks to all who participated, supported, and attended. Together, we’re making Petal a place where our seniors feel seen, valued, and cared for.
